Operating principle Two diaphragms connected by a diaphragm rod work together to create fluid motion in the pump. One side is in suction mode and the other side is in discharge mode. The inward movement of the diaphragm creates suction that brings the balls closer together. When this happens, the top valve closes and the bottom valve opens, which allows fluid to enter the chamber through the bottom port. The outward movement of the diaphragm induces a discharge motion that causes the spheres to move away from each other. At this point, the top valve is open and the bottom valve is closed. This allows fluid to flow out of the chamber and out through the top port. The process alternates between the two chambers in a continuous cycle.
