If your going to do a Cpanel backup you have to remember a few pros and cons when doing it.

1. It's manual not automated so if you  https://asaprestorationla.com  continue on this path I would recommend doing it at least once a week.

2. It's complete though you back up ALL your files so if the worst happens you have a solid starting point again

3. It is very easy to do once you know how.

4. It's better than no backup at all.

5. If you do have to use the data your blog will be restored just like it was the day you downloaded the backup.

So if you made any major changes and didn't do the Cpanel backup then your blog will be restored to the state it was on the date you backed it up.

There definitely better methods out there to back up all your files than this but for someone not doing any back up or for the new guy this makes sense until they get off their duff or get their technical feet wet.

Now please note don't think just because you have the WP Database Backup plugin installed and are getting regular emails you are backing up all your files.

Wrong! You are only backing up the content you are not backing up all your files so please if that's your means of protecting your blog please if nothing else do a Cpanel backup asap.

Well I guess now we get to the heart of the matter how to actually do it.

Again it's very simple just log in to your Cpanel find the section labeled files. Click on the tab Back ups. You will taken to a page that has a tab Download Or Generate a Full Website Backup click that.
